Mango Kalakand is very tempting and yummy sweet bar. It is made of with only 3 ingredients, cottage cheese (Chena), condensed milk and mango. So easy to make and simple recipe.
Here is the list of its ingredients and its method:
Ingredients:
Milk - 500 ml
Lemon - 1
Condensed Milk - 200 ml
Mango Pulp of 2 mangoes
For Garnishing:
Almond flakes
Method:
1. Boil milk and then add lemon juice in it. Stir it continuously until chena and water separates. Strain it and wash it twice.
2. Now take a non stick pan and put crumbled chena into it and also add condensed milk into it and mix it well. After that add mango pulp into it and mix it. Cook it on low to medium flame until it thickens. Stir it so that it won't stick to the pan.
3. Grease the plate or box or cake tin with clarified butter/ghee. When the mixture thickens and leaves the pan then transfer it into the greased plate or box. Sprinkle almond flakes over it and gently press it with spatula. Keep it aside to cool down.
4. Cut it into pieces and de-mould it. Yummy Mango Kalakand is ready to serve.
*Shelf life of this delicious sweet is 8-10 days if keep at refrigerator.
