Vermicelli Jarda (Sweet Sevian)



Vermicelli Jarda (Sweet Sevian) is sweet delicacy made of with homemade vermicelli, sugar and dry fruits. It is so delicious yet simple to make. I already shared the method of preparing the homemade vermicelli. Here again I am sharing the link of it for your reference: Homemade Vermicelli Recipe



Here is the detail of its ingredients and method:
Ingredients:
Homemade Vermicelli - 1 cup
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Sugar - 3-4 tbsp
Yellow Colour - 2-3 pinches
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
Desiccated Coconut - 2 tbsp
Melon Seeds - 2 tbsp
Almonds - 2 tbsp (chopped)


Method:
1. Put ghee in a pan and heat it. When it melts then add homemade vermicelli and roast it for 1-2 minutes or until it changes colour.

2. After that add 1/2 cup of water and yellow colour in it and let it cook for 4-5 minutes or until it tenders. Then add sugar in it and mix it well. Cook it for 1-2 minutes or until all water absorbs well.

3. Then add cardamom powder, desiccated coconut, melon seeds and chopped almonds in it and mix it well. Vermicelli Jarda is ready. Garnish it and serve it hot.
