Delicious Vermicelli Zarda | Ramzan Special Sewai Jarda | Meethi Sewai


Delicious Vermicelli Zarda is a sweet dish which is very easy to make and instant recipe. It is so tempting and delicious.



Here is its ingredients list and method:

Ingredients:

Vermicelli - 1 cup

Clarified Butter - 3 tsp

Sugar - 2-3 tbsp.

Orange Food Colour - 1/4 tsp

Green Cardamom - 2

Clove - 1

Almonds  - 7-8

Walnut Kernels - 5-6

Dry Coconut Flakes - 1 tbsp.

Raisins - 1 tbsp.




For garnishing:

Desiccated coconut - 1 tsp




Method:
1. Boil water in a sauce pan and then add vermicelli, 1 tsp of clarified butter and 1/4 tsp of food colour in it and cook it.

2. When vermicelli cooked 80% then strain it and pour a glass of cold water.

3. In a non stick pan heat 1 tsp of clarified butter and roast almonds, walnuts, dry coconut flakes and raisins.

4. In the same pan heat 1 tsp of clarified butter and roast crushed clove and green cardamoms. Then add boiled vermicelli in it and sugar as per taste and mix it well.

5. Also add roasted dry fruits and mix it. Cook it until all moisture absorbs. Tempting Vermicelli Zarda is ready to serve. Garnish it with desiccated coconut and serve it hot.

Note: You can add any dry fruits or tooti fruti in this recipe and you can also garnish it with crumbled khoya (milk solids) for more taste and richness.
