Creamy Coconut chutney for dosa | Nariyal ki chutney


Coconut chutney for dosa, idli, vada, etc. This chutney is very easy to make and so good in taste.

Here is the list of ingredients and it's method:
Coconut - 1 medium size
Chana dal - 2tbsp (soaked)
Curd - 150 gms
Tamarind pulp - 1tbsp
Green chillies - 3
Salt to taste

For tempering:
Mustard seeds - 1tsp
Dry red chilli - 1
Curry leaves - 7-8
Oil - 1 tbsp
Method:
1. Dry roast the soaked chana dal for 1-2 minutes.

2. Put chopped coconut, roasted chana dal, green chillies, tamarind pulp, salt to taste and 2 tbsp of water into the mixer jar and grind it. Then add curd into it and again grind it well to make a smooth chutney.

3. For tempering, heat oil in a tadka pan. Then add mustard seeds, dry red chilli and curry leaves into it and roast it. When it starts crackling, put it into the chutney and mix it well. Creamy coconut chutney is ready to serve.
