Soya Stuffed Chillies


Soya Stuffed Chillies is so tempting and scrumptious side dish recipe. It is so simple to make and full of flavours.

Here is the list of its ingredients and method:
Ingredients:
Green Chillies (Bhavnagari Mirch)- 250 gms

For Stuffing:
Soya Chunks - 20-25 (soaked in boiled water for 20 minutes and then squeeze them and chopped or crushed in chopper)
Boiled Potatoes - 4 (small) (mashed)
Onion - 1 (chopped)
Garlic - 1 tsp (finely chopped)
Green Chillies - 1 tsp (finely chopped)
Sesame Seeds - 1 tbsp
Crushed Roasted Peanuts - 1 tbsp
Dry Mint Powder - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds- 1/2 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder- 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Chaat Masala - 2 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Oil - 2-3 tbsp.

Method:
1. Wash and dry the green chillies. Make a slit through centre and remove the seeds.
2. Take a pan and heat 2 tsp of oil in it. Put cumin seeds and mustard seeds in it. When it starts crackling, then add chopped garlic and green chillies in it. Then add sesame seeds and roast it. Also add crushed peanuts and chopped onions and saute it for 1-2 minutes. Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, chaat masala, dry mint powder and salt in it and mix it well. Then add crushed soya chunks in it. Also add mashed boiled potatoes in it and mix it well. Stuffing is ready.
3. Stuff the above mixture in the slits of Green chillies.
4. Grease the baking tray with oil and preheat the oven at 180 delgree celsius for 4-5 minutes. Set all the stuffed chillies on the baking tray and brush some oil on the chillies.
5. Bake it at 180 deg. Celsius for 15-20 minutes. Soya Stuffed Chillies is ready. Serve it hot along with chapati, poori, paratha, rice, etc. (You can also cook it on non stick pan.)
