Corn Rava Idli is so healthy, scrumptious and tempting breakfast idlis. You can have this at any time of the day. It is full of nutrition and taste.

Ingredients:
Semolina - 1 cup
Corn Kernels - 1 cup (crushed)
Curd - 1 Cup
Assorted nuts - 2-3 tbsp
Chopped Coriander leaves
Onion - 1 (chopped)
Peanuts - 1 tsp
Chana Dal - 1 tbsp
Urad Dal - 1 tbsp
Curry Leaves - 7-8
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Flax Seeds - 1 tsp
Melon Seeds - 1 tsp
Dry Green Chilli - 1
Chilli Flakes - 1/2 tsp
Baking Soda - 1 tsp
Salt to taste

Method:
1. Take a non-stick pan and dry roast the semolina for two minutes. Then keep it aside to cool down.

2. Heat oil in a pan and then add mustard seeds and cumin seeds in it. When it starts crackling then add curry leaves and dry green chilli in it. After that add chana dal, urad dal, asafoetida into it and roast it well.
3. Then add assorted nuts, peanuts, flax seeds, melon seeds and mix it well. Then add chopped onions into it and saute it for 1-2 minutes. Cook it down.
4. Take a mixing bowl and put the tempering and roasted rava (semolina) in it. Then add crushed corn kernels, chilli flakes, chopped coriander leaves and salt to taste in it.
5. Lastly add curd and mix it well. Then add adequate water to make a smooth batter and whisk it well. Keep it to rest for 10 minutes.
6. Boil water in a steamer and grease the idli moulds. Just before steaming add baking soda in the batter and mix it well. Put the mixture into the idli moulds and steam it for 10 minutes.
7. Let it cool down before unmoulding. Corn Rava Idli is ready. Serve it hot with tomato ketchup, coconut chutney or peanut chutney.
