Spicy Papaya Lassi


Spicy Papaya Lassi is delicious, healthy and refreshing drink. It is very simple and easy to make and best option to have specially in the scorching summer. Papaya is high in nutrients and antioxidants and is good for diabetics and it also helps in weight loss. So this papaya lassi can also be consumed by diabetics as it has no added sugar too. If you want you can add honey or sugar for more sweetness but I like it without sugar as it has the natural sweetness of papaya.



Here is its ingredients and its recipe:


Ingredients:
Chilled Papaya - 1 cup (diced)
Chilled Raw Mango Pulp - 1 tbsp.
Jal-jeera Powder - 2 tbsp.
Crushed Dry Mint leaves - 1/2 tbsp.
Chilled Curd - 1 cup
Almonds - 7-8
Ice Cubes


Method:


1. Put diced papaya, raw mango pulp, jal-jeera powder and crushed dry mint leaves into the mixer jar and make a smooth paste of it.

2. Keep 1-2 tbsp of above papaya paste separate for garnishing and put curd, almonds which add little crunch in this lassi and ice cubes into the rest of the paste in mixer jar. Blend it for 1-2 minutes or until it mixes well. Spicy Papaya Lassi is ready to serve.

3. Take big glasses or beer mugs for serving it. First garnish the serving glass walls with papaya paste and then pour the papaya lassi into the glass. Then top it with finely chopped papaya and papaya paste and sprinkle some chopped almonds over it. Put straw in it and serve it chilled and enjoy it.
