Coco Pinni




Pinni is a Punjabi Cuisine sweets which is usually made of with gram flour, whole wheat flour, Urad dal, etc. Coco Pinni is delicious sweet delicacy made of with whole wheat flour and gram flour. Coco powder gives a nice and different flavour to this pinni. It contains the goodness of pure ghee, dry fruits and multi seeds. Having 1 pinni with a glass of warm milk is the perfect kick start of your day. The ingredients are very basic that all of them may be easily found at anywhere. You can made it at any time and store it for future use. It can be stored for long time. You can have this pinni at your breakfast or serve it at tea time. I am sure everybody will like this coco flavoured pinni so much.


Here is its ingredients and recipe:


Ingredients:
Pure Ghee - 170 gms
Wheat Flour - 100 gms
Gram Flour - 100 gms
Coco Powder - 3 tbsp
Powdered Sugar - 150 gms
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
Desiccated Coconut powder - 2 tbsp
Sesame Seeds - 2 tbsp
Flax Seeds - 2 tbsp
Melon Seeds - 2 tbsp
Chopped Almonds - 2 tbsp
Chopped Cashew Nuts - 2 tbsp
Chopped Walnuts - 2 tbsp
Raisins - 2 tbsp.


Method:


1. Dry Roast Sesame seeds, flax seeds, melon seeds, almonds, cashew nuts and walnuts. Keep it aside.


2. Take a pan and heat the ghee. When the ghee melts and hot then add whole wheat flour and gram flour in it and roast it on low flame until nice golden.


3. Then add coco powder and desiccated coconut powder in it and mix it well. Lastly add cardamom powder, mix it and switch off the flame.


4. Cool it down the roasted mixture. Then add powdered sugar, raisins and other dry roasted seeds and dry fruits into it and mix it well. Make pinni of this mixture with your hands. You can make it in any shape. Then in a plate mix desiccated coconut and powdered sugar and roll all the pinni one by one under this mix.

5. Coco Pinni is ready. You can serve it with a cup of tea. It can be stored in airtight container for 25-30 days.
