Mix Veg Pakoda is delicious and crispy deep fried snack item which you can serve it at evening teatime or any other time of day. It is made of with gram flour and rice flour mixed with chopped vegetables and spices.
Here is its ingredients and method:-
Ingredients:
Gram Flour - 1 Cup
Rice Flour - 1 Cup
Chopped Spring Onion greens - 1 cup
Chopped Onions - 1 cup
Chopped Cauliflower - 1 cup
Chopped Potatoes - 2 medium sized
Finely chopped Eggplant - 1 small
Chopped Capsicum - 1 medium sized
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Finely chopped Garlic - 2-3 cloves
Carom Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Crushed Coriander Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Chopped Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp
Curd - 2 tbsp
Baking Soda - 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Method:-
1. Take a bowl and put all ingredients except oil into it and mix it well. Add adequate water in it and make a thick consistency mixture.
2. In a pan heat oil for deep frying the pakodas on medium flame. Once oil gets hot then take a spoon full of mixture and put that into the oil and deep fry it until crisp and golden colour. Fry few Pakodas at a time. Make all batches of pakodas in the same way. Mix Veg Pakoda is ready.
3. You can serve it hot with tomato ketchup or coriander chutney and a cup of tea.
