Beetroot Vermicelli Kheer




Beetroot Vermicelli Kheer is so delicious, tempting and healthy dessert. We all eat vermicelli kheer many times, but only by adding beetroot into it, it looks and tastes different. Grated beetroot not only gives a nice pink colour to this kheer but also gives great texture. We all know that beetroot has many nutritional values so this is the best and delicious way to consume it, specially for kids.


You can eat it hot or chilled according to your mood and choice.


Here is the details of ingredients and full recipe of it:-
Ingredients:
Milk (Full Cream) - 500 ml
Beetroot- 1 (grated)
Vermicelli - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 3-4 tbsp
Almonds - 2 tbsp
Raisins - 2 tbsp
Cashewnut Powder - 2 tbsp
Milk Powder - 2 tbsp (optional)
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp


Method:
1. Take a sauce pan and put milk into it. Once it starts boiling, then turn the gas flame slow and add vermicelli and grated beetroot into it and let it cook on low heat until the milk reduced to half. Keep stirring it continously so that it don't stick to the pan.


2. Then add sugar, cashewnut powder and milk powder into it and cook it until sugar dissolved well.


3. Lastly add cardamom powder, almonds and raisins into it and mix it well. Cook for 1 minutes and switch off the flame.


4. Beetroot Vermicelli Kheer is ready to serve. Garnish it with almonds and serve it hot or chilled as per your choice.
