Beetroot Fenugreek Poori



Beetroot Fenugreek Poori is unleavened deep fried bread. It tastes so scrumptious and its red colour look makes it so tempting. You can serve it with any curry dish of your choice. It is, surely, be liked by everyone.
Here is the detail of all ingredients and recipe of it:
Ingredients:-
For dough:-
Whole wheat flour - 2 cups
Beetroot puree - 3/4 cup
Dry Fenugreek leaves - 2 tablespoons
Carom seeds - 1 teaspoon
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Water - If required


Oil for frying


Method:-
1. Take a bowl and put whole wheat flour in it. Now add beetroot puree, dry fenugreek leaves, carom seeds, 1 tablespoon of oil and salt to taste in it and mix it well with your hands. Add water, if required, in it and knead a firm dough and cover it and keep it to rest for 10-15 minutes.


2. Before making pooris knead the dough once again and take a portion of dough and make lemon size ball. Grease your rolling board and roll the ball with the help of rolling pin. Make all the Poori in the same way.


3. Heat the oil in a pan for deep frying the Poori. When it becomes hot, then put one or two rolled poori in it and gently press with sieve ladle for puffing up. When it starts floating over the oil then flip it and cook the other side. When they cooked remove it from the oil. Deep fry all your poori. Crispy Beetroot fenugreek poori is ready to serve.


4. Serve it hot with any curry dish like matar paneer (peas and cottage cheese), Aloo (potatoes) Bhaaji or any pickle.
