Butter Masala Soya Chaap




Here is the full recipe:-
Ingredients:-
Soya Chaaps - 500 gm
Onion paste - 2 big
Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon
Green chillies - 3-4 (slit)
Tomato puree - 1 big bowl (approx 400-500 gms)
Curd - 2 tablespoons
Cream - 100 gms
Black pepper corn - 1 teaspoon
Bay leaves - 2
Cloves - 4-5
Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
Dried Mango Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Mustard Seeds - 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Butter - 250 gm
Oil - 10 tablespoons


For garnishing:
Onion rings
Lemon wedge
Green chilly

Method:-
1. Take a pan filled with water and put it on the flame. On the other hand wash soya chaaps. When the water starts boiling then put the soya chaaps in it and let it boiled for 10 minutes or until it softens. Then drain the water.

2. Take a pan. Heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil and shallow fry the boiled chaaps until it turned nice golden in colour.

3. Heat rest of the oil into the pan and add butter in it. When butter melts then add mustard seeds, bay leaves, black pepper corn and cloves into it.

4. When it starts crackling then add onion paste, green chillies and ginger garlic paste into it and cook until it turns brown.

5. Then add tomato puree and cook it until all water content evaporates.

6. Then season it with Kashmiri chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Garam masala, Coriander powder, Dried Mango Powder and salt to taste and mix it well.

7. Then add curd into it and cook until masala leaves the oil. Then add fried soya chaaps into it and also add 1 cup of water into it and close the lid and cook it for 10 minutes on low flame.

8. When the gravy thickens and soya chaaps tendered, then add cream into it and mix it well. Cook it for 5-6 minutes. Then off the flame. Butter masala soya chaap is ready to serve.

9. Put it on the serving dish and garnish it with onion rings, lemon wedges and green chilly and serve it with naan, chapatis or parathas.
