Ingredients:-
Rava (semolina)- 1 cup
Curd - 3/4 cup
Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves- 6-7
Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
Chana dal - 1 teaspoon
Urad dal - 1 teaspoon
Asafoetida- 1/2 teaspoon
Onions - 1 (finely chopped)
Capsicum - 1 (finely chopped)
Tomatoes - 1 (finely chopped)
Ginger - green chilli paste - 1/2 teaspoon
Pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Oil - 1 tablespoon

Method:-
1. Take a bowl and put rava in it. Add curd, asafoetida, pepper powder, salt to taste, water as required in it and mix it well. Add chopped onions, tomatoes and capsicum in it.
2. Heat oil in a tadka pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves in it. When it starts splutter then add chana dal and urad dal into it and fry for 1-2 minutes and put this into the mixture of rava and add ginger green chilli paste in it and mix it well and keep it aside for 20 minutes.
3. Then just before steaming add baking soda in it and mix it well.
4. Boil water in a steamer. Now take silicon muffin moulds and fill 3/4 of it by rava idli mix and steam it for 10-12 minutes.
5. Before unmould, let it cool for 5 minutes. The rava idli muffin is ready.
6. Serve it hot along with tomato sauce or coconut chutney.
