Stuffed Lachha Paratha

Ingredients:-
For making dough-
Whole wheat flour - 1 bowl
Salt to taste
Oil - 1 tablespoon

For making stuffing-
Boiled Potatoes - 6 medium sized
Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
Chopped Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons
Roasted cumin seeds - 1 tablespoon
Red chilli powder -1/2 teaspoon
Chaat masala -1 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Green chillies - 1 (finely chopped)
Salt to taste

other ingredients:-
Butter - 5-6 tablespoon
Oil/ Ghee

Method:-
1. Take a bowl and put whole wheat flour in it. Now add two pinch of salt, 1 tbsp oil and adequate water in it and knead a soft dough for making parathas and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.

2. For preparing the stuffing, take a bowl and put the boiled potatoes into it and mash it well. Add chopped onion and all other spices (roasted cumin seeds, chaat masala, chopped green chillies, chopped green coriander leaves, garam masala and salt to taste) into the bowl and mix it well.

3. Divide the dough and stuffing in 5-6 portions and make their balls. Now take one of them, sprinkle some dry flour on the rolling board and rolled it and take 1 tsp of butter and evenly apply on it.

4. Then take one portion of stuffing in your hand and give it a shape like sausage and put it in the centre of the rolled paratha. Fold the paratha in half from the centre and again apply the butter on it and begin to roll out over the folded paratha and make a rope type string.

5. Then start rolling from one edge of the string to another as chakli. Then flatten it and carefully rolled this with the help of rolling pin to make a perfect round shape.

6. Heat the tava to medium temperature and carefully put the paratha onto it. Grease the both sides of the paratha with the oil/ ghee and cooked from both sides by flipping it with the help of spatula so that both sides turned into nice golden brown. Your crisp paratha is ready to serve.

7.  Keep the paratha in the plate and put a cube of butter on it and  serve it hot with some pickle.
