Ingredients:-
Soya granules - 1 cup (soaked for 1/2 hour)
Chidwa - 1 cup (soaked)
Onion - 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
Carrot - 1/4 cup (finely chopped)
Broccoli - 1/4 cup (finely chopped)
Bread slices - 3-4 (soaked)
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Green chillies - 2 (finely chopped)
Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoon (finely chopped)
Chaat masala - 1 tablespoon
Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
Garam masala - 1/4 tablespoon
Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Oil
For Garnishing:-
Onion rings
Tomato ketchup
Green chilly
Method:-
1. Take a bowl and put soaked soya granules and chidwa in it. Then add all finely chopped veggies, cumin seeds, coriander leaves, chopped green chillies, chaat masala, garam masala, black pepper powder, coriander powder and salt to taste in it and mix it well. Then add 3-4 slices of soaked bread in it for binding (you can also use corn starch instead of soaked bread as binding agent). Then mix it well.
2. Then divide the mixture in 10-11 portions and take a portion of the mixture in your hand one by one and press it for making your kebabs like tikki. You can give any shape to the kebab. Make all kebabs this way.
3. Heat a non stick tava and shallow fry the kebabs with oil on medium heat until both sides of the kebab turned into nice golden brown colour.
4. Now crisp soya veg kebabs are ready to serve. Serve it hot with onion rings salad, green chilly and tomato ketchup along with tea or coffee.
