Besan ka Halwa


Ingredients:-
Gram flour (thick) - 1/2 cup
Mawa (khoya) - 1/4 cup (grated)
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 1/2 cup
Milk - 1 cup
Cardamom powder - 2 teaspoon
Almonds - 3-4 tablespoons
Desiccated coconut - 3 tablespoons
Food colour - 1 teaspoon


Method:-
1. Take a non stick pan and put ghee in it. When it is hot and melted, add gram flour in it and roast it well on medium heat. Keep stirring it so that it doesn't stick to the pan.

2. Then add khoya in it and roast it until it turned into nice golden brown colour.

3. Simultaneously take milk in a deep pan for making sugar syrup and heat it. Add sugar, cardamom powder in it and give a nice boil until sugar dissolved properly and then add food colour in it.

4. Add this milk sugar syrup and crushed almonds in the roasted mix and stir it well. Keep stirring it for at least 2-3 minutes or until it absorbs the milk.

5. Now the delicious besan ka halwa is ready. Garnish it with desiccated coconut and almonds and serve it hot.
