Besan Ka Cheela


Besan ka cheela is healthy, delicious and simple tea time snack recipe. It is so easy to make. I added capsicum and onions into it which makes it more tastier.

Here is its list of ingredients and method:
Ingredients:
Gram Flour (Besan) - 1 cup
Capsicum - 1 (finely chopped)
Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
Green Chillies - 2 (chopped)
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Carom Seeds - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tbsp
Chaat Masala - 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 3-4 tbsp.

Method:
1. In a mixing bowl, mix gram flour, capsicum, onion, green chillies, 1 tsp of oil, cumin seeds, carom seeds, garam masala, chaat masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt to taste. Add adequate water in it and make a smooth batter.

2. Heat the non stick tava and grease it with oil. Put 1 ladle of batter on tava and spread it to make a round shape and cook on low to medium heat.

3. Brush the oil on other side of cheela and flip it to cook the other side. Cook both sides until golden. Then Remove it from tawa. Make all cheelas in the same way. Serve it hot along with tomato ketchup.
