Wheat Flour Halwa (Kada Prasad)

Wheat Flour Halwa (Kada Prasad) is our one of the favourite halwa. It is served in Gurudwaras as Kada Prasad. The best part is that no additional flavour and no dry fruits are added in this halwa but still it tastes so delicious that no one can resist himself.

Today I am sharing the recipe of Kada Prasad. You can also watch the video of this recipe on youtube, For viewing: Click Here

Here is its ingredients and its method:

Ingredients:
Wheat Flour - 1 Cup
Sugar - 1 Cup
Ghee - 1 Cup
Water - 4 Cups

Method:-
1. Take a non stick pan and put ghee in it. When ghee melts and become hot then add wheat flour in it and mix it well.

2. Roast the flour in ghee on low to medium heat until nice brown colour. (Don't roast it on high flame otherwise it will burn)

3. On the other hand take 4 cups of water in a sauce pan and add sugar in it and cook it until sugar dissolved. (Just heat the water only to dissolved the sugar, do not required to make sugar syrup).

4. When flour gets roasted then slowly add sweet hot water as prepared in step 3 into it and stir it well so that no lumps would create in it. Keep stirring it for at least 2-3 minutes. Now the delicious Wheat Flour Halwa (Kada Prasad) is ready. Serve it hot.
