Restaurant Style Palak Paneer

Restaurant style palak paneer is easy to cook at home. To make it more tastier you can shallow fried the cottage cheese dices.


Here is the detail of its ingredients and method of it:   
Ingredients:
Spinach - 1 Kg
Cottage Cheese - 200 gms (Cut in cubes)
Onion - 2 (finely chopped)
Tomato - 2 (make a puree)
Ginger - 1" pc
Green Chilli - 2
Garlic Cloves - 8-9
Cream - 2 tbsp
Kasoori Methi (Dry Fenugreek Leaves) - 2 tbsp
Garam Masala - 2 tsp
Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Ghee/ Butter - 2 tbsp.


Method:
1. Clean the spinach leaves and wash it well. Put it into the water and let it cook in a Pressure cooker up till 1 whistle for blanching. Then drain the water and cool it down. After that put it into the mixer jar and make a paste of it. Also make a combined paste of ginger green chilli and garlic.


2. Take a pan and heat ghee/ butter into it. Then add chopped Onions into it and cook it until light brown. After that add Ginger-Garlic-Green Chilli Paste into it and mix it well. When it properly roasted then add tomato puree into it and mix it well.


3. Season it with chilli powder, garam masala, Kasoori Methi and salt to taste. After that add spinach puree into it and mix it well. Cover it with lid and cook for 2 minutes.


4. Then add cream into it and mix it well. Lastly add cottage cheese cubes into it and mix it well and cook for 1 minute. Then Switch off the flame and Palak Paneer is ready. Put it into the serving dish and serve it hot with chapati, naan or rice.
