Crispy Bread Balls



Bread Balls is a crispy and delicious snack dish. You can serve it at your breakfast or any other snack time or also pack this in your kid's tiffin box along with their favourite tomato ketchup. You can also prepare this snack recipe for your kitty parties or kid's birthday parties.

Here is the list of ingredients and method:
Ingredients:
Bread Slices- 8-10


For stuffing:
Boiled Potatoes - 7-8 (Mashed)
Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
Cottage Cheese - 150 gms (finely chopped)
Mustard Sauce -2 tbsp
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp (chopped)
Dried Mint Leaves - 2 tsp (crushed)
Green Chillies - 2 (finely chopped)
Coriander Seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Dried Mango Powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp.


Oil for deep frying


Method:
1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan. Then add Cumin and Coriander Seeds in it. When it starts crackling then add chopped onions and saute it for 2 minutes.

2. Then add mashed potatoes in it and mix it well. Then add chopped cottage cheese, mustard sauce, salt to taste, green chilli, garam masala, red chilli powder and dried mango powder into it and mix it well.

3. Lastly add crushed mint leaves and chopped coriander leaves into it and mix it well. Stuffing is ready. Keep it aside to cool down.

4. Now take water in a bowl. Dip one slice of bread in water and squeeze it with the help of your hands. Then put 1-2 tbsp of stuffing on it, cover it well and make a shape of ball with your hands. Make all in this way. (Do not dip bread slice into water for long)

5. Heat oil for deep frying and put 2-3 bread balls in it and fry it on medium heat until crisp and golden. Fry all batches. Crispy Bread Balls is ready. Serve it hot with any chutney of your choice, be it tomato ketchup, mint coriander chutney, green chilli sauce, etc.
