Rava Upma



Upma is popular and healthy breakfast  for all ages. You can add any seasonal veggies into it for making it more healthy and delicious. It is easy to cook specially with the instant rava Upma mix, the recipe of which I already shared in my blog. Here is the link for your reference:

Here is its full recipe:-


Ingredients:-
Instant Rava Upma Mix - 1 cup
Onion -1 (Chopped)
Peas - 4-5 tablespoons
Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
Cashew nuts - 2 tablespoons
Schezwan sauce - 1 tablespoon (optional)
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Salt - a pinch ( as our Upma mix already has the salt in it so no need to add salt while making Upma. Keep in your mind that we just required to add salt as per the quantity of veggies which we are going to include in upma.)
Water - 2 cups

Method:
1. Take a pan and heat oil into it. Then add mustard seeds into it.

2. Once it starts crackling, then put chopped onions into it and sauté it for 2 minutes. Then add green peas into it. Also add pinch of salt and stir fry it for 1 minute.

3. Then add schezwan sauce, 1 tablespoon of cashew nuts and rava Upma mix into it and mix it well. Then add water into it and stir it continuously until water absorbs well.

4. Healthy Upma is ready to serve. Garnish it with chopped cashews and serve it hot.
